P說，這仍然不像是一件真的發生的事。

經歷過好幾次的感情，但距離前一次，已經太過邈遠，感覺幾近前世。這幾年大步邁進中年，她幾乎已經放棄再度覓得伴侶，不惟自己本來也非天仙之姿，人到中年，大概也知道自己有哪些改不去的怪脾性，而這些，相信沒多少對象願意且承接得住。

P的工作雖然起起伏伏，總也衣食無虞，賃居親戚位在維爾茲堡的房子，打了折的房租，無啥經濟壓力，每年有兩次的大旅行，她走遍了五大洲七大洋。廿一世紀獨立的新女性，日子彷彿就要這麼一直過下去沒有變化。她以為，這輩子生活就是這樣了。

然後，P在某個擠滿了人的座談會上遇見來自法蘭克福的G，她認為是全場最有頭腦的男性。而這個最有頭腦的男性，竟然在會後主動找她攀談，開啟了一段友誼、情愫，兩城不斷往返，電郵與簡訊、火車與公路，乃至，最終成了愛情。

過程講得如此之簡單，她說，聽起來是不是像假的？

那個心情，在某一天聽到了一首歌之後，彷彿心情被講透了，P心頭無比之震動，差點就要尖叫出。卻又微微之擔心：好事，真有可能如此降臨？

她把那首歌的歌詞寄給我了。我說，是啊，你肯定是幹了不少的好事，別擔心！
